Child Safety Standards

This page sets out the Child Safety Standards for the Basscamp mobile application (package app.basscamp.mobile), operated by WEEBEE DESIGN, S.L. (the developer shown on our Google Play listing). It describes our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM), in line with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and applicable law.

Basscamp is a festival community app that includes user-generated content and social features — profiles, chat and direct messages, posts, media uploads, comments, camps and crews. These standards apply to all user-generated content and every social interaction on the platform.

1. Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM

We strictly prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form on Basscamp, including the creation, upload, storage, sharing, solicitation or promotion of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, and the trafficking or endangerment of minors. We are committed to preventing, detecting and removing such content and behaviour from our platform.

2. Compliance with child safety laws

Basscamp complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations in the jurisdictions in which it operates, including relevant EU, Spanish and international requirements. Where we obtain actual knowledge of confirmed CSAM, we act to preserve the relevant material as required by law and report it to the competent authorities — including the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the relevant regional authority (in the EU, via the appropriate national body) — as legally required. Basscamp is intended for users aged 18 and over, and account registration is age-gated.

3. Reporting inside the app

Every user can report abusive content or behaviour directly inside the app, without leaving it:

• Report content: the Report option available on posts, media, comments and chat messages lets anyone flag content for review, with dedicated reasons that explicitly include sexual content, so suspected CSAE/CSAM can be flagged directly.
• Block: users can block any other account, immediately stopping further contact, and manage blocked accounts in Settings.
• Contact support: child safety concerns can also be sent to our dedicated point of contact listed below.

4. How we handle reports

We review reports of CSAE/CSAM promptly. When we confirm a violation, we take appropriate action, which may include:

• removing the offending content as soon as we obtain actual knowledge of it;
• suspending or permanently terminating the account(s) involved;
• preserving relevant data and escalating confirmed CSAM to NCMEC and/or the competent authority where legally required;
• cooperating with law enforcement in accordance with applicable law.

5. Point of contact for child safety

We maintain a designated point of contact who is authorised to discuss our child safety practices, enforcement procedures and CSAE standards, to receive notifications from Google Play, and to take action as needed:
